Old Crow Smokehouse brings “BBQ, moonshine, and country music” to Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Expect the barbecue styles of the Carolinas, Texas, Memphis, and Kansas City; moonshine cocktails such as Front Porch Punch; live music on the weekends; and cowboy boots on staffers. Signature Scruggs Rubs baby-back ribs are named for concept chef Tony Scruggs, once a fanfavorite competitor on the Fox reality show, “MasterChef.” Menu highlights include crispy fried pickled okra, Pigskin Nachos with pork rinds and pulled pork, tri-tip sandwich with horseradish aioli and artichoke hearts, brisket burnt ends, smoked pork loin sandwich, above, whole beer-can chicken, and pan-seared whole catfi sh, plus a combo platter serving four to six diners, with desserts. Live-band karaoke every Thursday. From appetizers to desserts, prices range from $4 to $30.
